ViTAUX Invitational - Players Information

Game Structure

Each Game :

  • 2 × 16-minute halves → 32 minutes total
  • Timeouts: 1 per half (2 minutes each)
  • Halftime: 5 minutes
  • Start/Stop Time: 2 minutes per half (used only if the point differential is under 15) → 6 total minutes
  • Total Game Time: 45 minutes

Tournament Rules & Expectations

  • Respect referees, volunteers, opponents, and staff at all times.
  • Referee decisions are final.
  • No trash-talking, taunting, aggressive confrontation, or harassment.
  • Zero tolerance for fighting, intentional harm, or abusive language.
  • Technical fouls may lead to ejection depending on severity.
  • Ejected players may not return for the remainder of the tournament.
  • Minimum players to start a game: 4.
  • Only rostered players may participate - no day-of substitutes.
  • No jewelry or dangerous accessories.
  • No protests or retroactive score changes unless a clear scoreboard error occurred.
  • Only team captains may approach officials during stoppages.
  • Team fouls reset each half.
  • Two technical fouls = automatic ejection.
  • Ejection can also occur from:
  1. 2 Technical Fouls
  2. 2 Unsportsmanlike Fouls
  3. 1 Technical + 1 Unsportsmanlike

All participants are expected to conduct themselves with positive and respectful language and behaviour at all times. Referees' decisions are final and must be respected. Any unsportsmanlike conduct, including physical altercations or threats, will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event. By registering, you acknowledge that you are participating at your own risk, and that Vitaux Co. and any of its affiliates, partners, or subsidiaries are not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses that may occur before, during, or after the tournament.
